FREE MEDICAL CARE DAYS

We manage and carry out Free Medical Care Days to provide quality medical services to people who live in highly and very highly marginalized areas that are difficult to access by deploying Mobile Medical Units.

(In our medical campaigns, we provide 1st level medical care and dental interventions. In the case of critical patients, UBGA sends a small team for personal attention to their home.)

UNITING EFFORTS

As a social commitment and in the interest of having an impact on the structural problems that afflict our society, we build disciplined and compassionate teams with a high degree of professionalism. We stablish alliances with other non-profits, volunteers, the three levels of government, schools, institutes and universities increasing the number of both beneficiaries and benefits from the programs we develop.

UBGA has also helped to enable surgical interventions for people in need who had no access to social security by either volunteer/pro bono work or by mediating a discount in a private hospital.

HEALTH SUPPORT MANAGEMENT

As part of an integral/holistic service with the objective of improving the quality of life for highly and very highly marginalized populations, we provide orthosis, such as wheelchairs, walkers, walking sticks and crutches to those in need who cannot afford them.

HEALTH PROMOTION

During the Free Medical Care Days, we implement health promotion workshops where children and adults participate in educational games and talks related to dental care, nutrition, and sports activities and exercise among other subjects.
